Paid zone:

Orange zone

From Monday till Saturday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (except sundays, public holidays and the 11th of July)

  • First 30 minutes are free
  • Max. 2,5h of parking time
  • From € 0.30 per 15 minutes | Maximum of € 3.00 per day

Green zone

From Monday till Saturday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (except sundays, public holidays and the 11th of July)

  • First 30 minutes are free
  • Max. 4,5h of parking time
  • From € 0.10 per 15 minutes | Maximum of € 3.00 per day

 

Fee: € 25.00 per half day (from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM and from 2:00PM - 7:00PM)

Blue zone:

From Monday till Saturday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (except sundays, public holidays and the 11th of July)

  • Parking disc obligatory
  • Maximum 2 hours of parking time

Blue zone at the height of the Halve Maan - between 1 July and 31 August: Monday - Sunday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (except public holidays & 11 July)

Parking card | Diest paid & blue zone

Resident card

With a resident card, residents can park for free in the blue zones, paying zones or the zones where there is a parking restriction.

  • Resident cards for use in the blue zones are free
  • Maximum 2 cards per housing unit
  • € 75 / year for the first card - € 150 / year for the second card
  • The use of residents' cards is prohibited from Monday to Saturday between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM in the following shopping streets: Hasseltsestraat (including OCMW parking), Botermarkt, Wolvenstraat, Sint-Jan Berchmansstraat, Grote Markt, Koning Albertstraat, Schaffensestraat and Leuvensestraat.

Employee card

Employees can park for free in the green parking zone with an employee card.

  • €25/month, €60/trimester or €175/year

Market vendor card

This card can be requested for free and can be used by stall keepers during the market.

  • Free

Healthcare provider card

This card can be purchased for people with a medical or paramedical profession who make home visits in Diest. Care providers can use this to park in all parking zones.
